Rumors about the all-new C63 AMG getting a twin-turbo V8 4.0-liter engine have now been confirmed and the new motor will be the result of joining two of AMG's 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbo engines found inside the high-performance versions of the A-Class lineup (A45 AMG, CLA45 AMG and GLA45 AMG).
The new model is "about a year" away according to Tobias Moers who said AMG models usually have more power than rivals. Exciting news!! Cant' wait to see the SLC...This new 4.0L turbo will be there new engine replacing the 4.6tt and 5.5tt from what I hear...
