I've seen a number of posts from members taking their car to the drag strip, but all of those seem to have had the DCT and not the manual. With all the complaints about the launch sequence with the DCT, it would seem that the manual transmission would work much better. Hold the clutch in, rev to the best launch RPM, dump the clutch and off to a great elapsed time! Have any manual trans owners taken their car to the strip? Does it shift as quickly as you'd like? ETs and speeds.....?
