The M5 weighs far more than I wanted, but unfortunately was expected.
However, with a 1,000 lb savings over the X5M, expect the M5 to hit 11's in the 1/4 mile and sub 4 second range in the run to 60. Combine that with an average of 21+ mpg, a beautiful design in and out and the large tuning possibilities, I think you've got quite a monster in your hands.
