I was wondering if closing the gaps in the oem bumper had any negative influence on airflow or cooling. And can it take 200mph driving?

Thanks.

The coolers on the F10 will continue to function without issue- the E9x M3 has a very similar cooling and ducting arrangement, and accepted front lips without issue, with even BMW Motorsport themselves offering front lips for the car.

The RKP front lip is an incredibly snug fit against the OE M5 front bumper, and would almost stay in place without 3M adhesive tape. A very strong installation is ensured by using adhesion promoter prior to applying the tape (to a clean surface), 3M adhesive tape, and the original BMW fasteners found on the bottom of the front bumper. I have complete confidence that the front lip would not detach from the front bumper well into the triple digits.
