Yeah Pull-ahead is appealing for sure.
The issue is when I drove the E63… it felt soulless. The M5 was definitely a better drive.
BUT my biggest issue with the M5 is having less rear legroom. My family is fairly tall, my brother being 6'2" and my father 6'4"
They fit fine in the E class, but not so well in a 5 series. I need to have the dealer allow us to take the M5 out (or even a regular 5 to keep miles low on a M) and see how my father feels back there. He's fine in our current E class (previous body), and was fine in the new body E.
We took a 750 out and he LOVED it. I loved it as well….. but I want something more fun, and something I can track occasionally… so the decision is difficult.
If a dealer can offer me a steal… I may go with the M5, but the two are pretty comparable right now.
If I don't get a M5 or E63, I do think I'll go with the 7. I don't want another E350… too bland and boring.
