I'd be seriously disappointed if it wasn't offered for the next generation. I can't see them retrofitting it for the F10 M5.
My guess is lane departure assist, blind spot detection will be standard. And autonomous braking will be optional. Probably part of the executive package.
Not that I agree with it, I think all safety features should be standard.
