I would add that the F30 rides considerably better on rough roads in terms of not having any more "pothole explosions". Also, the F30 base stereo is slightly better than the e90 Hi Fi stereo.
I may as well mention the 328i N20 turbo engine and 8 speed transmission as being light years better than the normally aspirated 6 cylinder in the e90 in every respect (power, speed, gas mileage, 8 speed transmission)-- except for engine and exhaust noise.
The F30 may also be a little bit larger car than the e90.
I love my F30 328i compared to my e90 328i. I love all of the other changes mentioned above
