Interesting because I was told by BMWNA that my dealer would "likely" do the repair, as I specifically asked if the repair was going to be done at the VDC. To be fair, she said she didn't know
about the "technical" aspect of the repair.....
From a practical standpoint it may not be a bad idea because I don't want my car being the first oil pump change
for my dealer's technician. Ok, who here wants to have their car repaired first at the VDC, I say it should be in order of drop off
Given that they say ED cars can take up to six weeks to deliver, they can possibly sit on (read quarantine) these ED cars for awhile even if they arrive sooner without being (legally?) responsible for this time being counted as lemon law time or for loaners.
