If there was a definitive process I believe that BMW would have communicated, via bulletin to their dealers, what the process is going to be for the recall. The fact that 48 hours has elapsed, if not more, since the recall went public clearly highlights a fundamental flaw in the brand and the opinions that BMW has of their customers. M5 customers aren't just the average run of the mill customers. I saw Toyota handle their recall issues more effectively than BMW for their $25K cars.
