Former owner of the car installed a roof spoiler but the dum-dum used glue instead of double sided tape. My question is, since it's mounted on the glass and not paint, can I use metal fishing line on this? The normal nylon fishing line snaps and it doesn't matter what gauge it is.

I say metal because I'm making minimal progress with a metal spatula/ paint scraper. This adhesive is freaking evil. If anyone has another method I haven't looked into yet please let me know..
