Matt Russell at a BMW of Austin M5/M6 event said the M6 would exceed 200, but I can't remember what he said about the M5 (slightly worse aero).

In September I was in an M5 with a guy from the M division, and we thought we could get the car up to 200 mph on the Autobahn. Traffic limited our effort, but we got the car up to 180 mph, and it could have gone faster.
