Sold my M3
So I drove my old 570S last weekend and boy was that a mistake.... I sold it to my buddy few months ago and he has modded it a little since then. A tune, High flow cats really woke that car up. I really started missing a proper sports car and started thinking about maybe buying another 570s. I also looked into Huracan, 650S. Something about Audi R8 kept drawing me in, I think all the new tech plus the NA V10 won me over. I also like the somewhat understated looks of the R8.
Pulled the trigger today on a new R8 V10 Plus in red. Interior is black with red stitching. I believe it has every option except Dynamic steering. I like it so far but I think it needs a more aggressive exhaust.

Lol, it doesn't. But after driving it HFC and a tune, I wouldn't have it any other way.

Why? 570s has a Graziano transmission which supplied the DCT to Ferrari and Lamborghini. New R8 also has a Graziano transmission. After driving the 570s for few months then driving an M3 for few months, Graziano feels much sportier IMO.

I believe you're correct. When I first drove the 570s, I didn't know who made the transmission but I knew it was different (in a good way). That's when I researched and found out that Graziano made the transmission. I thought Audi would be using the same supplier as BMW but it felt different and after checking, it was Graziano.
To be honest, I cannot tell a difference in shift speed between the 2.

My 458 was so fast on the paddles, along with the Huracan and R8- it was faster than the M's I have had with DCT (had 5 DCT's).
Edit: congrats OP, I just picked up a gen 2 as well (non plus) and have Hex tuned it for about 85 crank hp. Its a killer car and I know you dont only care about speed cause the 570S is the faster car. Doesnt this car just drive like a dream!! I do have the mag ride though which really makes things smooth.

458 has Getrag 7DCL750. Almost the same as Getrag 7DCI700 but higher torque (7DCI700 is rated to 700 NM and 7DCL750 is rated to 750 NM) so I trust you feel faster. I'm not sure about gear ratios but even lighter weight of 458 and probably rear engine help better torque transfer ...

My California HS is faster than the PDK on the 991ts. I love the shifting on that car. The magneride is also great to have.

Haha... I was telling people all the time in last 3-4 years that Getrag DCT is the fastest DCT even faster than PDK

On the Cali T HS package they improved the downshift by 40% and upshift by 30%. You should add Cali T with HS to your list on the ADD thread and I would vote for it. For the money it's a great car. It's not as fast as you might like but it's a long way from slow and you really can't go fast around town but you can drive with the top down and hear that amazing exhaust note available only on the HS. It also has magneride included in the HS feature. You have to look for 2016 models with it because it wasn't available prior to that.
