I ordered mine June 30th. I had a production number a few weeks later but it took until late August before it completed production.

It got loaded on a ship a couple days ago so I'm expecting to take delivery around Sept 22nd. That's nearly 90 days from start to finish! The wait is awful. Good luck!

Presumably you're not talking about the m5 when you say that?

I do not think this is the M5. There is no way you will get the M5 on Sept 22nd when people in Germany myself included take first production delivery in November. North American production begins March 2012.

I think you need to talk with your dealer if they say this is going to happen for you.

I timed it from point-to-point and compared it to a couple videos of Sabine in the E60 M5. Bottom line is it was 18 seconds quicker!
