Silverstone F10 M5 spotted in the snow at Big Bear

Not sure if it's still a big deal to see these, but I was crazy excited to see one in person. Silver with red interior (I don't know the BMW names for the colors) and I believe DCT if thats the auto they come with. As you can see, it has distributor plates. This was in Big Bear, California right next to the Snow Summit ski resort.

Hope it doesn't end up around a tree. Running summer tires in those temps with ice on the road isn't too smart.

One of my favorite M5 colors for a pure stealth machine. Still not loving the orang-red interior though.

How bright is sakhir orange in person? On the website it looks really intense but in your photos it doesn't look quite so bright - it looks more like fox red.

It's more red than in the pic above.

Not quite as seering as seen in these pics from Frankfurt IAA (http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=585075), but somewhere in between I'd say.

Jason is right, it is a much more vivid red in person. It was very sunny and bright out with all the reflective snow so it was difficult to get good pictures on my iPhone. I personally thought it was much nicer than the red that comes in the 3 (and probably 5) series; it looked a lot less like an orange-red crayola crayon.

I love the Sakhir Orange with Space Grey. I don't feel that the color is bright and/or obnoxious but it only goes with a handful of exterior colors, IMHO.

A bit too much the red interior for a M5. It's my personal opinion...
