U.S. 2013 M5 Online Configurator Now Available

Now not seeing the gas guzzler on the X6M,X5M, or M6. I think it would make sense there is no tax since these cars all have pretty much the same engines. But we probably won't know until the car lands off the dock and they test it.

how do you unselect a trim to go back to aluminum?

Working well for me. Comfort access is a no charge option? SCORE! I'll pay for the HUD and skip the Executive Package and save $5500. Also, not seeing the gas guzzler tax

EPA considers the X5 and X6 as trucks so their epa minimums are less than the cars thus no gas guzzler tax. Can't explain the M6

The 2013 M5 configurator was taken down and has not been available for over a week now. I have a few possible changes I want to make to my order and the dealer does not have all the color swatches for exterior or interior trims. Does anyone know when the build your own will be available?

How many dealers actually have color swatches? My dealer--a large one--only had a few standard BMW colors and no Individual. I'd really like to see some of these colors in the flesh before finalizing... Especially the sakhir orange leather. I did see Monte Carlo blue at the auto show, but I can't visualize it with a sakhir orange interior. Online pictures seem vastly different. I ordered my Z4 in the blind and worried until the day I picked it up that the colors wouldn't go well.

I don't see that on the site. It does do exactly that for the M6 coupe.

I just got it up and running... No mention of comfort access anywhere... maybe they are still tweaking it...
