I dont think it is much. 15% for first class, 10 for business and 5 for coach, I believe.
But call to verify. At one time they had buy one get one free tickets. Also, If you have an American Express Platinum card, you always get a free companion ticket for First Class to Europe. |

Also, it would be best for one to shop around as there are consolidated fares offered for first class, business and coach seats and are substantially less compared to what one can get if he/she goes directly to the Airlines. Sometimes going through a travel agent can be better than going to Travelocity, Expidia, etc. |

I checked on this last week I called Lufthansa on a coach ticket. She gave me the prices, and it was the same as when I went on their website. So maybe for coach tickets there was no discount.

It's pretty cheap just going on Expedia. Especially if you live on the east coast, not a long enough flight to pay extra. $1400 round trip from Portland Oregon to Munich is nothing. Probably less for you guys.
Save the money. |

you have to call them direct and have your production # with you, 888-552-4508. Check your prices on line first though as the program is really somewhat of a joke, very little savings

Sweet. I have lots of great experience traveling with Lufthansa while living in Europe. For some reason they appeared to be one of the only European airlines that lnew how to operate efficiently in poor weather conditions... maybe its a German thing

For the ED trip, I got a better Business Class rate and schedule with Air France than with Lufthansa. Although, I have never had experienced late arrival/departure nor a bad experience with Luthansa in past flights, I prefer the on-board service by Air France. With Air France, I have experienced on 2 occasions, late baggage arrival whenever CDG (Charles De Gaulle) airport is involved (for transfers) even when traveling Business class.

I agree. If anybody is thinking of traveling Business class, Virgin Atlantic offers good prices with their "Upper Class" service (they have no business or first class) between the U.S. and Heathrow and via British Airways between Heathrow and Munich. Anyway, I still chose flying AirFrance Business booked through Amex Travel Service. Although priced higher, I still chose AF as it offers the best times for me to/from JFK plus the fact that I have an AF Flying Blue account.

I called Lufthansa this AM. The 2 for 1 offer expired April 1, 2012. Discount percentage is dependent on when you travel and class of service, that is, first class, business, etc. As many have noted it seems more economical to look at other airlines and travel websites for better fares.
