Pretty kool vid. Too bad "comfort" is a luxury most people can't afford.
I bet every car in this segment from 1955 to 2011 is only available to middle/high class society. Too bad really cuz they work wonders.... |

Shame they failed to mention the awful ride quality of the e60/e90/e87 with the combo of run flats/hard springs/soft bushes
FAIL! |

"…BMW iDrive, with this intuitive and interactive operating system…"
The latest generation of iDrive is much improved over previous ones; nonetheless this still gave me a good laugh.

Oh, I used to hate those check control lights on my old E30!

I think that depends on a person's priorities. If someone doesn't mind that their car isn't new, you can get a great Certified Pre-Owned BMW for less than many cars are new. You can get a nice 2-3 year old lease return with the warranty and service agreement for the low to mid $20's, and that is Altima or Camry money. I think BMW (and other cars of it's class) have an unfair stigma about price and attainability. I recently moved from CA to TX and everyone here seems to be in a full size truck or SUV. You can't walk outside without seeing an F-150 or Tahoe, but everyone comments that I drive a BMW. If you've priced trucks and SUV's lately, they aren't exactly cheap. No one bats an eye at dropping $40k on an SUV, but suddenly your "exclusive" if you by a BMW? Another example of perception driving reality...

I WANT A BMW!

They started putting 2 side mirrors on in '78 I believe. For inspection, you only need 2 mirrors (in PA anyway) such as a rearview and 1 side. |
