Florida dealer in Coconut Creek has a 2013 M6 convertible with a market value increase of 25k. It is legal and they will do it where they can.

Exactly that dealer will be begging for someone to take it from his lot. My dealer offered me M6 vert at sticker price and when I said no he was willing to drop the price..

Wow - and I thought I could have a great European vacation on $13K in savings! Imagine what kind of vacation I could have with the extra $15K (28K in total) I just saved by not buying from this dealer!

Does BMW make watercraft? I might need to spend my savings on a boat to re-import.

Capitalism.. I say get all you can.. If the dealer can get someone to pay a million dollars good for them.. After some negotiating; I got the $6300 ED discount on an order I placed today and was happy to get that.. maybe I'm the shmuck who pays to much though.. lol

This.

Those who pay the markup help subsidize those of us who know how to get the best price we feel comfortable paying.

The same M5 on the dealer website with a $1080 discount. But when I called my CA, he said it was a system error. LOL!

I am in Coral Springs and know the dealer in Coconut Creek. They do such high volume they seem to care less about customers. I got my X6 from them and won't be buying any more BMWs from this dealer after the bad taste from that deal.

For $25k over sticker on a $125k M6 vert, one could get a Maserati or SL63 for that kind of cash! Not worth it when you can order from any dealer in the country at MSRP and do a PC delivery!

In the SF Bay area, $10-$20K markups were common on the E60s that could be found on showroom for the first ~six months. But those were different times. I agree that asking for huge markups now is prob just a way to keep the car on the floor for a while.

I dropped off my E60 at East Bay (Concord) dealer yesterday (for potential VANOS problem--- just what I need) and they had a MCB F10 on the floor from a "deal that fell through." Salesman said they would sell for MSRP.
