Thanks for posting! Video/sound clip would be great!

Question; what is the expected performance improvement for this mod?

Power from intake is minor compared to sound and throttle connectivity with your ear, it claims 15 HP and I would expect that could be true maybe more with a tune. My car feels quicker to spool and build boost and is a joy to wind up and listen to the JET ROCKET it truly is!
I will get some footage after i wash the car.... Also got the Eisenmann full race with 102MM tips and the sound from front and back have greatly improved.....Can't wait for DPs maybe some ICs....

I will be hitting the dyno in a week or so for power #'s But it wont matter cause i just hit 1200 miles the day after i put on all the parts.... So no before #'s

Aloha

Me Too... My trans (6MT) has been deemed defective and BMW is trying to get the One spare unit out to Hawaii..

I have not been driving the car much.. The only Dyno on my Island is 2 HRs away. Might get there next week before I go to the mainland.. Sorry for the delay.

Sorry about the trans troubles. How ironic that the long used and I'd think very dependable manual transmission isn't working properly. Makes me wonder if the DCT will prove to be a very durable piece due to the gear engagement being done with no load? The durability of the two clutches remains to be seen, especially with the power increases from aftermarket tuners.

I don't know if you were involved in the oil pump mess, but not being able to use your new car while it's parked in the garage must be very frustrating!

I also wonder if, as BMW transitions away from the MT, that parts or even whole replacements will be slower to arrive down the parts pipeline?

It seems to be true... Luckily the car still works, just not great for racing or fast shifts in or out of second...

Only if the car has an issue that BMW has proof was caused by the part(s).

That is the law for any car manufacture and any part... But my BMW Loathes me and my aftermarket parts.

Even after buying 2 M's and my father has leased 2 cars from them..

Did the install require any modification to any other parts? I have ready that minor modifications could be needed. Any help would be greatly appreciated since I am very close to pulling the trigger on the intake.

thanks in advance!
