Well my CA made a good point saying that since BMW decided to redirect their unsold cars from Europe and China to the U.S. Market, the cargo ships are fully laden with BMW's. Making the VPC's flooded with brand new BMW's getting off the ships. Thusly slowing down VPC processing. But who knows, maybe it's an oil pump issuse. All I know is my M5 has been at the VPC since last Friday, drives me crazy knowing its right there!

My car didn't make it either but the dealer is bringing me a 550 to drive for the time being. Not an M5 but its something. I think its an oil pump issue still.

That's cool. Unfortunately my dealer is not in the area so I can't get a cool loaner like that. Otherwise I'd ask for an M3 to hold me over. I'm about to call BMW NA Customer Relations to find out what the hold up is for real.

Dudes,

Called BMW NA Customer Relations again. The story that they are giving me is that processing through the VPC is taking so long because of all of the oil pumps that they have to replace in the M5's. I said, but the bulletin says that the job only takes like 2 1/2 hours. Nothing makes sense, and they weren't able to give me an update if the car was released or not. Lame.

Edit: nvm I just answered my own question. It's good to hear the VDC is getting the oil pump cars done.
