Post Official BMW F10 M5 Break In Service Checklist

The 1,200 mile service on the F10 M5 is:

Change engine oil and filter
Change differential oil
Change transmission oil (6 spd manual only - no service to DCT)

The attached .pdf is straight from the BMW TIS. If anything else was/wasn't done then they didn't do it right.

Excellent, thanks for providing the TIS! I've had my concerns and planned to have my local dealership review the records. This helps!

How can you find out if the diff oil was changed on break in? The service book doesn't have an entry for diff oil. Would the dealer have a documentary record? I don't think that I was given any paperwork.

Good to know. So there is no need for the technician to drive my car AT ALL.

No wash and no drive please.
