I hear a noisy rattle coming from the left front side of the car...
that usually happens when i make a hard left turn (from a full stop), something is clicking and sounds loud... Anybody had this? Any idea?

Also I hear the same noise while accelerating aggresively from a complete stop...

I hear it as well. I have the opposite issue as you. I hear it on the right front when making a right turn from a full stop. It just started doing it last week. Only 620 miles on the car. No idea what it is

I dont think it is normal since the noise is loud enough to scare people in the car..

There sure have been a lot of posts about rattles and stray noises in the F10 M5. Is BMW's build quality falling through the floor?
Unrelated to noises, but I just used my driver's side rear shade for the first time, and it promptly broke. Sigh...back to the service dept.

Squeaking sound is bc of the brakes.

I'm not sure this is relevant to what is happening with the M5 brakes, but I'll give my experience. I changed out the front brakes on my last car to large diameter AP rotors and six piston calipers. Occasionally, not all the time, I would get that rattle from the front, either left or right, when turning 90 degree corners at low speed. This happened over years of use with no complications from the brakes at all. I believe it has to do with how much the caliper pistons have retracted after the last brake application. If the seals have pulled the pistons back slightly more than usual, I think it gives the pads some room to rattle against the rotor, and perhaps turning has something to do with the pad movement?

Guys,
nothing to worry about, this is from the brakes; Apparently it will be the first time you drive a car with "floating" discs. I admit, I do not like the sound either, however it doesn't affect the cars performance nor is a quality issue. grts |

Sometimes the tires pick up lil rocks and it could get stuck in the suspension system causing the noise to happen when you turn one direction. It might be a cause.
