Yes I do.. I believe all US cars are 2013. Also all paperwork stated 2013.

I too have the 'clunk' issue and my M is now around 500kms (mileage) from new. My car is now at the Dealership in Brunei (theres only 1). I'm grateful for this Forum so next week, i'll bring this issue up with the Brunei BMW dealer and see how things got from there. Currently theres only 4 F10 M5's in Brunei....

I would love to hear what your dealer has to say about the blurry HUD as I have the same issue. In addition to the think in the rear ....

Answer from dealer on my 3 issues today:

1. Clunk sound from rear will be solved later this year ( December ).
Faulty rear springs! Basically same answer as Singularity got, I guess?

2. Blurry HUD _ we canīt see any blur.............................
They are probably blind.... As soon as I got back in the car and
drove off, I entered a destination in the NAV ( to fill up the HUD with
info ). Immediately the right upper part looked like I have double vision -
totally disturbed and blurry!

3. Problem with address book not reachable + other bluetooth/phone issues
was all related to the simple fact that I had put in some smileys on some
of my contacts. This crashed some software in the combox! New combox
software installed AND smileys removed from my iphone.
Now it works perfect again.

get a set lowering springs from H&R or Schnitzer and the "clunk sound" will dissapear, it did so on my car. And it looks and feels so much better with these springs
I have mounted 15mm spacers front and rear too.

After the software update yesterday ( all software was updated, not only the combox ) the car is behaving strange. It does not respond to throttle input as it used to do. It feels like lagging when pushing the accelerator. Not the respons Iīm used to. The first 60-70% pedal travel, very little happens.
Dealer told me the car has to adapt to my driving style again!?
I canīt recall it being this mushy/laggy when I picked it up 5 months ago.
Itīs the same in Efficient and Sport. Did not try Sport Plus due to rain.
If driving in D7 and flooring it ( without hitting the kickdown ) it accelerates very slow.......

I just noticed some clunking going on, coming from my 300 mile car. A fix is coming in December in the way of new rear springs? I might as well put a set of H&Rs on instead!

Info from dealer today ( saw the message in the BMW computer system myself) - new springs delayed until March 2013....

Thanks for update. I don't understand why it takes them 1.5 year after release for a relatively simple update on springs, especially if any aftermarket ones fix the problem.

Yes, the clunk sound is annoying, thinking about the H&R spring too, but hows the ride quality and body roll comapre to the stock spring? is it stiffer than stock?

how's does it work together with the damper adjustment?

appriciate feedback

Had H&R on my e60 M5.

Looks = better
Ride = worse

Active damper continues to work, but on the e60 it pretty much rendered sport plus useless - too stiff.

Others with these springs on F10 seem to be saying positive things about their experience. Personally, if I do it again, it will be KW for me.

Thats sucks, mine is being delivered March 23rd. I find it strange BMW wouldnt make this more urgent as they'll need to replace all these right away anyhow. Granted its not catastrophic, but its still a lot of time and money wasted.

Does anyone know when new production vehicles are slated to get the change?

This "clunking" noise is really starting to annoy me.

I drive on New England roads, which are some of the worst roads in the country. I hear the clunk sound every time I go over ANY "normal size" bump (or pothole). It seems like I hear the sound going over just about every bump in the road. It's much worse at lower speeds versus on the highway.

Is this what everyone else is experiencing while driving over bumps, or do I have another problem with the car that I should have the dealer inspect?

Thanks.

It is annoying and loud to hear, it's even loud enough for people outside to hear. People who don't complain are those who either drive on perfect roads or who don't mind that their car has a "baseball bat in the trunk" sound.
