Inexpensive way to dress up your M5
If you have a heat gun and you have worked with wrap before you can do this. Buy Di-noc 1080. Its very pliable under heat. The rear diffuser comes off pretty easily.

I notice a bit of uneven waviness to the pattern. Is this due to the heat and stretching or is this how the pattern comes? BTW, great idea for a cost effective mod.

Well executed. This is something I usually see on imports for the teenage crowd, but doesn't look too bad

I did this for not only reasons of aesthetics. The door handle trim had to be done. I did not want any chrome on the car. The B pillars have that glossy black look to them. Well, they also get scratched very easily or passengers always get their fingerprints on them. So, I put this stuff on there because it protects, looks nice, and does not show fingerprints. |

Found it, CF-12...
Now how much do you need ? they sell it by the meter... I want to do the back and the doors like you... Standard size is 50cm x 152cm , then you go in 50 cm increments... 100 x 152 , 150 x 152 and so on... |

However, it would be important to know the specific heat range needed for the material as that will dictate the gun purchased (different heat guns/different heat ranges/settings) Otherwise, it can be a bit risky (for the wrap and the material). |
