Exhaust Tip options

Did a search and didnt come across anything. Are there options for those that may not want to replace the exhaust but want larger exhaust tips for a more aggressive look?

I know BMW M performance has black tips, but I believe those are the same size. I would want something larger but in stainless.

That's correct the BMW Performance Edition tips are the same size as the reg. M5 but in Black chrome.

I think its strange there arent more options - Im sure many others are fine with the stock exhaust and just want more aggressive tips. There seem to be tons of options for the e90/92s. Like Stealth mentioned in another post, its something he'd spend a decent amount on for quality slip on tips, as would I.

I think most people end up deciding to get a rear section exhaust instead of "just the tips."

It's so easy to upsell yourself when spending to much time on this forum!!!

Sounds like some 90mm silver and carbon tips (slip on) will be ready soon from CYBA. Im choosing to go this route since I dont want to cut any pipes to add the rear cans of an exhaust - and from what Ive heard so far, the stock exhaust is no slouch.

Personally I found I was satisfied with the stock exhaust in Europe, but not in Miami.

The road surfaces and topology of where you drive affect the sound propagation characteristics. The net is that I can barely hear the exhaust in Miami but in Europe it sounded great. So I am having Eisenmann installed this week.

But I would recommend starting with slip on tips. It's less expensive, and later if you want a new exhaust you can always sell them to someone else on the board.

Not sure where does that 'sound' come from, but from what I had talked to Cyba he didn't have anything coming at all and ordering carbon fiber tips would take 4-6 weeks. I wanted black tips (either carbon or black matte) to replace my Eisenmann 90 mm because I don't like chrome at all and black tips will definitely look better on a white car.

Maybe he can comment himself.

He had PM'd me they were almost ready - in carbon and stainless. Slip-on as well. Ill report back as soon as he replies to my PM.

You can get a custom set from Nate@IND . they can powder coat them black (or any
other color) and also add a custom log (such as ///M) to it.
The original BMW performance tips are very hard to come by and expensive.
