I notice that you can touch those number buttons and it will show what did u assigned for!! Did u guys notice that? Or I'm tooooo late for this.

a few years late.. I think they are the same on e9x m3's as far as I know.

Yea but not just for radio. You can short cut many favorite functions with one touch. (Not new)

My E60 did not have these. How can you assign these buttons? I don't recall seeing anything in the hard copy manual or the PDF on this.

My E60's did. Not the official SOP but once you have the address or radio station desired on the screen,press and hold a number and that will be your shortcut button to that address, station or function.
