Completely agree. If you like to make your wife smile, put her behind the wheel of the M5. She will pay you back with smiles later!

Mine drove mine when it was 2 days old as I took her car for service. I did have to spend 20min explaining how to drive and park it

I'm not married. I'm just assuming what is true of my girlfriend is true of your wives! But I recognize these are very different arrangements and I prefer mine!

Finally let the wife drive the beast this past Sunday and I saw a side of her I didn't know existed. Once we got to an open road, I told her to hit it, and she buried her foot all the way to 140MPH! I had to tell her to let off...If I didn't I really think she would have taken it to the limiter....Kinda Sexy!

Awesome. My GF is actually terrified of the M5. Its the first car i have bought that she doesnt want to try out. She panics when I put it in M Mode. She screams if I floor the throttle. I have a feeling she would be a lot happier if I had a 640i instead.

But it doesn't stop me. I like making her scream.

Ha my girlfriend is the same she hates it when I drive in M mode, and she says it makes her sick! I told her if she wants to drive the beast she has to drive it as it was made to be driven. Ummmm my issues are gone, and I hate to say girlfriend as we have lived together for a few years now. But I'm not to keen on that law that makes you split all your stuff in front of people you don't know(: Tried that once, and life is grand so Stealth I get your drift.

im surprised anyone can floor the throttle on this car!

i dont think i have yet (on the street). it just doesnt seem to provide the same feedback as the e60 did. where just felt you KNEW what was happening. or maybe the power to traction ratio is too great...

Traction is much better in Miami where the tires and roads are at higher temperatures. I have no issues.

I did floor the throttle in the rain the other day, and heard a lot of tire spin.

Interesting I floor the thing all the time on some nice back roads in GA, and no problem what so ever. Do you have traction control turned off is so I get your point?

I let my wife drive mine all the time, she loves the 6MT as well.

I will pass this car down to her to replace her 2011 535 when the new m4 vert is released

I'm lucky in that my wife prefers her SUV to my M5. She says she doesn't feel comfortable driving it and that it has too much power...fine with me!!!
