Funny thing is you cant get enough - you see your M5 in the garage every day, yet you still like to see other M5 pics.

Mike, love the exhaust video from previous post and the pics.. I just bought a 2013 M5 this past weekend in Singapore Grey Metallic.. The dealer / Finance guy talked me into a paint and dent warranty in which he said would cover rock chips etc and as often as I wanted to get them fixed. When I talked to my service advisor he said absoltely not.. Doesnt cover stuff like that.. Anyway I hate getting the little dings on my front bumper and the touchup kits are ok but after awhile all the little dots look horrible. Was thinking of trying the 3M clear bra.. Wondering if anyone else has done it and if its worth it or not?

Nice edit. I agree bracketing is the way to go on a black car, the overexposed shot will allow all the character lines, etc to show up in the final image.

Thanks Mike.. Do you use a duster on your black car in between washes? I had a white 550i before my new M5 in Singapore Grey and its driving me nuts trying to keep it clean. Somethings blooming by my work over the last 3 days and literally covers my car with pollen streaks...

Yes I always keep a California car duster in my trunk, but I have another car that I daily drive so my M5 is usually always sleeping in the garage unless I'm driving it. The duster works great, been using one for years. Also my name's not Mike, you can call me Dave. My M5's name is Mika. Go see the movie Eurotrip and you'll understand why. ![]()
