Singapore Grey New Car Prep

I had ordered a brilliant white individual car, but was getting impatient with the wait. Found a Singapore grey with the specs I wanted about 3 hours away, and decided it was better than waiting. Really glad I ended up with this one, I'm loving the color.

I drove it for about 700 miles before I finally got the time to seal it. Below are some pics and my process.

1) Wash with optimum no rinse
2) Clay bar with dodo juice born slippery
3) Wipe with IPA
4) Tape up any area I didn't want to get polish
5) Light polish with random orbital and HD polish
6) Remove tape and wipe with IPA again
7) Seal with HD Nitro Seal
8) Thoroughly clean windshield and apply aquapel

The wheels aren't clean in any of the pictures. I'll likely take to a local detailer and have him apply opti-coat.

This was the first time I've ever polished a car or used nitro seal. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the results. Whole process took 12-15 hours over two days.
