CHALLENGE - F10 M5 Stainless Steel Brake Line Kit - Made in the USA

CHALLENGE - F10 M5 Stainless Steel Brake Line Kit

This full stainless steel line kit for the M5 replaces all your flexible brake lines on your performance BMW. We retained the stock line configurations and mounting points for an OEM quality fit and finish.
Challenge uses high quality extruded PTFE hose with a stainless steel braided outer. Each line set has a clear coating protecting it from any of the elements. Stainless steel braided brake lines will not expand or contract under braking. This results in a firm brake pedal that is easier to modulate without locking the brakes gets rid of any "squishy" vague brake feel

All parts and components are DOT approved. Made in USA and includes lifetime warranty!

UPDATE:

All new line kits now have our special line material with the challenge logo along it to ensure authenticity and quality

MSRP: $125.00 USD Free 2-3 day shipping within the USA

Will these work on the Carbon Ceramic brakes? Any benefit, i don't know what they have for stock brake lines may already be braided?

Thanks,
JS

The M5 kit is a 4 line kit. The picture shown is the actual kit for F10 M5

I'll confirm this for you. It should be the same caliper on both brake model cars but will check with BMW. OEM lines are all rubber type lines.

Thank you.

Confirmed: Carbon brakes and steel brakes all use the same brake line kit.

Thanks for the kit! The lines fit great. I am very happy with quality and the brake feel. The shop used 1.5 ltrs of Castrol SRF. One ltr would have worked but they did a good flush of the system.

Awesome. Do you notice the difference or is it subtle?

Different feel for sure. The peddle has to be depressed more before the brakes grab and then it's one consistent motion to stop. It is a noticeable improvement. Now have to retrain my muscle memory from years of expanding brake lines.

do u hav actual figures that show how much would be the difference between standard F10M5 brake lines VS your stainless till brake lines. i mean, u got to hav some test result reflecting the actual performance under certain braking conditions?? or is it a "personal feel" factor more?

sorry if my Qs may seem too technical but i think i got to know this data before upgrading to anything especially when it is to Brake system.

many thx.

Or if any knowledgeable users can help to answer this

There is not much data out there to support any actual improvement.
But brake systems are hydraulic fluid under pressure. So using reinforced stainless steel lines helps the fluid flow without expanding or flexing the brake lines in the process. However, this really is only felt during extreme hard braking.
There is no safety issue as these lines are more robust then the OE rubber ones.
As long as they are installed properly.

The best proof of their actual functionality is Professional and Amatuer racing series.
All of them change the rubber lines to stainless steel brake lines.

Thanks for chiming in. You pretty much said about everything I would have mentioned.

The greatest benefit is usually in pedal feel and modulation under heavy pressure like when on track or driving aggressively. They also hold up to heat much better than they typical rubber brake line.
