Is there any Dyno runs to confirm any gains? I'm seriously thinking about getting this.

Just search it here. Plenty of dyno charts.
PM me for more info.

Damn, now I'm really interested. Can someone post a pic of the engine bay with it installed? I'm guessing it's safely secured?

Try this one in MdM w/ trackson off...not fully off. 0 speed, then stomp on it. So much fun. So yes I am a believer. Ok that's my review. I got to add more camel toe pics to my car chick thread.
So do you ever do OSR ? From 46 to Normangee is a nice run, you can open it up there pretty good. If you want a flat out test, take 2989 between 45 and 247 just south of Madisonville, that is 5 miles of unpatrolled pine trees.

But here is the thing about the tune, if it doesn't lift the limiter, what is the point?

I'm gonna put down some hard miles fri night and sat. this way to ensure its well adapted. But I can say I notice a nice improvement in performance. I'm waiting for a rematch w my co workers 2014 shelby gt500.

The point is how fast you get to the limiter.

I live in Austin, OSR is just north of Bryan on 6. It runs east and west. I was suggesting you take it from 6 to 45 and then head south on 45 to 2989. I figured out where you were by finding a visible road sign in your Utube, that is why I was wondering if you knew about the OSR. I own property in Walker County and mineral rights in all the surrounding counties so I get over there frequently. I also own land out in West Texas so I get out there too and I drive all over the state for bowling tournaments so I know a lot of good runs all over Texas. I make a point of taking the less traveled routes to find the good runs.

I don't think the Dinan tune is going to lift the limiter though so I will probably pass. That is why I am probably going to get a second car without a limiter. What is the fun of so many good roads in Texas and a car that can't do better than 155?

Yes no American tune will remove the limiter. But our cars are fun to drive. I will be at saltlick bbq prob on Saturday. I'm always there. Yes the back roads are the best. If your ever in Houston on a weekend join us for one of our country runs. Back in the day I used to go to binders/leaky and will again this summer. Best roads.

I go to the one in driftwood above Austin. If I'm there it will be around noon time. But I will let you know tonight if we go.

Hey get it. It works. I was unsure at first before buying it, but not anymore. If you know anything about me I will say if something is good or not.

I go way back with Burger Tuning, I installed a JB3 on my 2007 335i.

Just two quick questions: I looked at the install instructions and they are kind of disjointed since they apply to several BMW models. How hard or involved is the actual install of the BMS tune (Do both air boxes have to be removed?); and

Do you need to have a laptop running windows to modify the tune settings after the physical install?

To me, the JB3 on my 335i was fantastic and I would really like some objective thoughts on the installation.

Thanks

Great to meet you too. I suppose on the drag stuff Kamil. Doesn't sound like I'll be much competition with the stock tires and F10.

I'm more of a circuit kind of track guy. Any time you want to come out to willow, chuckie, Fontana, etc just let me know.
