While I completely agree with you, I don't really think this car is targeted at people who care about losing the money.

I was at my local dealership today trying to find out more about this special edition. Although I like the exterior color, which is similar to my Frozen Gray, I don't really appreciate the black interior with the alcantara inserts. I also find it quite uninteresting that they don't even bother to use carbon fiber inserts on the dashboard instead of the aluminum. The fact that you can't change anything about it made me give up on the car. I'd rather get a car specd to my own personal taste than this one, and I'd probably save some money. Only thing I will miss is the 600 hp, but whatever... All of the sudden the M6 GC starts to make sense for me...

It did for me too, my M6 GC CP is coming 1st September fully loaded.

The upgrades are nice. But that is an ugly color. Hopefully they will offer the standard colors as well.

Not anymore. Only with the 12 and 13 models. My 13 was burning an insane amount of oil. Had to add 8 or 9 quarts before reaching 10k miles. For both my new 14's. One with and one without comp package the oil burns a quart every 3300 miles. So they finally fixed something lol. Also aside from that, there isn't a sun roof on this car!!! Weight savings? Why not give it a carbon fiber roof like all the other M cars. I would have loved a CF roof for the M5. Would have brought down the weight maybe 70lbs without that glass and mechanism.

Agreed!!! The weight on the F10 could have been brought down more than any other M model because of the standard sun roof which most likely weighs a lot with how thick the glass is with addition to the mechanisms.

Is the increased hp and boost derived by an ecu/code remap? If so can we take our lci and cp cars in for service and ask them to put the program on with 600hp and 199 top end??
