lease numbers on a 2015 demo

Came across a 2015 fully loaded m5- with ceramic brakes, B/o, competition package- Singapore grey etc. it has 4.5k miles asking price is around 94k
This is a manufacturers demo. res-$63k

lease quote was around 1100.00 36 mth/10k


7k upfront cost.. is this a good deal?

What other options does it have? What interior option? What's the MSRP?

At most your up front costs should be around 3k. Never put $ down to reduce cap cost on a lease.

For a 15 demo you basically could get this car for 0 up front around 1k. Otherwise walk away.

That's marked up, should be .00138. The issue with leasing 2015s, leftover new or demo, is the residual difference between 16 and 15 (demo cars take another $.20 for each mile after 500). I find that completely destroys any advantage over a new 2016, even with the seemingly steep discount from MSRP.

Here's how your deal pencils out. The residual is low at about 53% and your MF a bit higher than what is offered for new 16's.
Your out of pocket should be about 5k which includes 2900 in upfront sales tax for New Jersey at 7%. Not sure if you can cap the tax or not but that would bring your down payment down.
I think you are better off getting a MY16 as a similar deal can be had with a higher residual and better MF.

I would assume BMWFS will require you to at least pay 1st month, doc fees, and registration (DMV fees).
If you credit is excellent BMWFS may allow you to capitalize the sales tax and acquisition fee.
That question would be better asked to the finance manager as he will have clear picture of your specific situation and can negotiate those terms with BMWFS.

118k, 93k cap cost. That's a good buy but the lease numbers are terrible. Probably get a 16.

I would not buy a demo M car after experiencing a test ride with the dealer. No warm up, just kept flirting the gas pedal to show me the noise. Engine still cold and kept revving it high. I won't go near a M car that has any miles on it unless you know and trust the person you are buying from...

Well invoice is 120k and change. So anything under that would be good.
