Issues with tune vs piggy back? DME tuning vs JB4
Posting here because this forum is much more active than M6 forum
Im considering getting a tune on my car (DME tuning stage 3) I currently have a JB4, downpipes, and afe intake, however, the jb4 is giving me continuous issues with weird idle and error messages. I remember on my other cars the difference a piggyback vs a tune made, so I am assuming (correctly?) that similar differences are made here, based on the search function of the forum. I was wondering if anyone here is familiar with DME tuning And if anyone here has this tune and has had any issues? I intend to remove my JB4 once the car is tuned, or at most set it to Map 0. Thanks for your help

Do a search in the engine, exhaust, drivetrain section of this forum and you'll have enough to read for days not only on the DME tune but on the piggy vs. tune debate. Good luck!

I added DME stage 3 with clutches at the same time. Still breaking in clutches so I have yet to get on it, but so far i can say power is so much smoother and consistent. So far very happy I stacked the two

My plugs are not gap but for that type of application I have no experience
