You can find a 14' for less money; I'm not sure what $61K includes in terms of warranty if any at all.

With that said $61K for a 14' is on the high side despite the low mileage; check auction values on 14' to have a better idea of what you can expect to pay.

Hi,

Here is another 2014 with 27K Miles for $52K

https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-...&modelCode1=M5

Is the difference in mileage worth $10K?
If not then it's too high.
This one also has Comp package.
It has everything besides Night vision and MCCBs.

Wow.. nice find.. thanks
Honestly to me it is . Especially when I consider resale value. Knowing myself, I'll keep the car for less that 2.5 years or so..

If it is to you then go for it.
You won't get it back in resale though.
Most buyers won't care about the mileage difference after cars are more than 5 years old (within reason of course). Even if you didn't drive the car at all for the next three years, you'd still have an approximately $35K M5.

True but not all the way. Seen 13's with 50k+ mileage go for high 40's. I think prices will hold up even better now that the F90's r out. Lesser mileage f10's would be sought after due to warranty still available on the car.

Lesser mileage cars do hold more value, but that usually means less than 30K miles (Currently). BTW, most 2014s run out of factory warranty this year or have already run out; so not sure how that would be a factor in 2.5 years. Even if you plan on buying an extended warranty it doesn't add up.
By all means if it's worth it to you, go for it. Just saying the average buyer won't see it that way.

Also 2013 M5's are only 5 years old and are selling at auction for around $36K.
Unless you think they won't depreciate anymore, then at 6 years old they will go for between $33K-$36K at auction.
So maybe I overstated that you would have a $35K car and I'll change my estimate to $40K for a low mileage 2014 in 2.5 years.

A 14 just sold at auction white on full Sakhir, competition, ccb, drivers assistance, exec, b/o sound, performance display steering wheel, cf with 58k miles for 38k.

Funny thing is I saw this car at bmw dealer for 46k it disappeared and went to auction and sold for that little. A dealer in NC has it now for 47k lol.

Deals to be had

Yup and its like buying a low milage R8 or something and driving it to 30,40,50k... You are gutting the value it holds paying over 60k..

Sadly 2014-2015s have way more fall left in them.

I know so many friends in the car business with dealerships that took fliers on F10s/M6s and are getting killed having to sit on them.

Garage List
Curious to hear what value you would put on this:

2014
17k miles
All options:

Competition
Ceramic Brakes
Executive
Driver's Assist
Comfort Acc

Certified car, I would be buying it private sale and transfer the CPO. Warranty up 6/18, CPO up 6/19.

I'd say mid $50's.
Bought mine @10kmiles for like $60k with the exact same options as yours.

first post.
doing research before buying a 14-16 M5
I saw some ads saying CP but then said 560hp. How do I know if a car has that option? Window sticker? what if that's missing? Can't the BMW dealer just print a new one and put whatever info they want on it? I don't think a PPI would tell you what options came with the car.
Thanks. Looking forward to joining club.

Take the VIN and plug it in bmwvin.com

It will give you all the cars factory options.
