Seems a bit high to be honest. non-cpo, that's a $55 car. Maybe w/ CPO $60?

Way too much.

$55k is dead on. CPO is worth about $2500. So $57,500 on the high side.

I recently negotiated the CPO out of the deal and went with an aftermarket warranty. Much better value to be had.

I passed on that deal. Was able to pick one up with similar features (-comp) for about $14k less.

Which one did you pass on and why? Can you post the link? Which one did you buy? The white one w/ Sakhir interior? Pretty sure we're all looking at the same cars, would be cool if we could share details about the ones we passed on and why.

There were 2 that I actually passed on...

The first:

https://www.tombushbmw.com/certified...81ab3d83e8.htm

This one was fully loaded and listed as CPO. After a few conversations with dealer I found out it actually wasnt CPO. They were going to discount about $1k and I was going to purchase BMW platinum extended warranty. However, it turns out BMW would not allow extended warranty because original owner missed the 1200 mile service by almost 1k miles. For whatever reason they weren't able to sell Fidelity warranty either. They claimed there was a recent situation where Fidelity wouldn't honor warranty to replace a customer engine and dealer had to do it. Too many issues so I passed.

I next turned my attn to this one in Tampa:

https://www.reevesbmw.com/used-vehic...model%5B%5D=M5

Beautiful car , fully loaded and CPO. I just felt this was overpriced. Dealer didnt really want to budge on price.

Patience paid off. I had been checking car gurus about 10x's per day , everyday. The one I bought is no longer listed online. Fields BMW in Orlando took in a 2015 lease return which I jumped on right away. They were asking about $54k. (Not CPO, no comp and b/o). 20k miles. I got them down to $51k and purchased easy care warranty plus got them to throw in maintenances refresh and I paid to extend maintenance for another 2 yrs. picked up the car last Wednesday. Let me know if you have questions.

You mind sharing what aftermarket company you went for a warranty? Looking at a Rover or M5 and going to need a warranty either way I go!

I have Zurich purchased through the BMW dealer. I spoke with two Service Advisers one at BMW and one at an Indy who both reported they had not had any issues with claims being paid by them. I also spoke with the Service Manager at my servicing dealer and he had the same response.

I have not had to use it yet, but hoping it's going to work out.

That's a helluva price for a 2015; most 2014's are in that range, from what I've seen.

Yeah the dealership actually lost money on it. They had it sitting through the whole winter. It's in MINT condition

Post Selling M5 F10 2015 - CLEAN

Hello folks.
Sigh :/ For family, I need to get an SUV and hence am ready to sell my great condition 2015 F10 BLACK on BLACK 60K miles. Ya'all probably know the goodies it comes with but for those who wanna read it, below is some information.

NOTES: It's in excellent condition - No Major Signs of Wear and Tear, Clean Seats, Non-Smoking, No Pets, No Kids Vehicle.
I saw bunch of similar whatever looking wanna-b M5's being sold for near price range so am thinking to sell it for mid to high $40k range. It's a rare Black On Black with Carbon Fiber Interior Trim and pretty much all the packages that came at the time. Garaged and highway Miles mainly.
Wheels: 20" X 9" FR & 20" X 10" RR M Light Alloy
Competition Package
BMW M Performance Carbon Fiber Interior Trim
Executive Package
Bang & Olufsen Sound System
Enhanced USB & Bluetooth W/Smartphone Integration
Driving Assistance Plus Package

NOTES:
  • New rear brake pads.
  • New engine done 10K miles ago by BMW dealer because S63 Engines are known to lock up. They even installed new water pump and some hoses while at it. Radiator Coolant and Turbo Coolant were changed as well.
  • I even got the interior leather dash re-tucked/secured in by a upholstered professional company to get rid of the bubbles issue these some owners may notice.
  • New original windshield from BMW after the leather dash work.
  • All 4 Doors have ding protection and vacuum seal around them.
  • No mods, pretty much stock with front lip and rear spoiler - Carbon Fiber.
  • Clear Bra On Entire Front - Hood, Side Panels, HeadLights, Rearview Mirrors and Front Lip.

I wish I could keep it too but can't. It's gonna be a great bargain to get this rare find - feel free to look around, won't find this good specked and condition M5 F10. I am in California and Texas areas mostly so car can be delivered there in person else we will have to arrange something. Serious Buyers: I will answer your queries via DM, feel free to reach out.
Feel free to reach out if interested or spread the word team. Thank you.

Welcome to the M5. Couple cool things about the F10, it held the record for worlds longest drift, which was then beaten by the current production M5, however the F10 was used for on track mid-drift refueling…

Here is a link to BBC Top Gear, back the original trio were on it. Hammond called the M5 competition Package the best car in the world at that time.

Link to top gear segment about F10 M5 comp package:
