Really great, classic demonstration of shallow DOF and use of bokeh. Not only is it textbook, but it's also interesting.

Is it bad that the first thing I try to do when I see Tim's pic is look for his watermark? It's like where's waldo.

Haven't posted anything in quite a while. Not sure I'm quite happy w/ the crop on this one, but it seems it would look weird if only part of the slider were in the pic. Ultimately, a better framing of the shot was probably in order.

Well, in chronological order....another concussion, 70+ hour work weeks, SF trip for sister's wedding, 60+ hour work weeks followed by 2 weeks in Yuma on business...and getting screwed out of HHonors points by the government (lol), and, finally, jury duty. I've got a bunch of pix from SF, but haven't had time to go thru them.

lol. Thanks, Ashu. No OSU didn't get to me. Black ice all over my driveway a couple months back did. Pumas + black ice = no good. To top it off, I had a couple of glass tupperware containers in my backpack and I broke them using my spine when I landed. Interestingly, my neighbor 3 townhouses down heard me hit the driveway and came over to see if I was okay. I was already up and about, but my first thought and act was checking the contents of my backpack. I was concerned that my lunch and dinner were ruined. lol Most people at work initially thought I must've gotten the concussion sparring. I wish I could tell that that was true. Oh well. To be a vegetable one day...

@ The1.....lol Damn Canucks! I kid, I kid. When on travel, I like to earn my hotel (Hilton or Marriott) hotel points and United miles!

Since I probably won't post anything tomorrow....here's a 2nd post for today (sssshhhh). Since I missed all the DOF discussions/shots...
