I'm interested in ordering one of these to the UK.

Out of interest, does this void any warranty with BMW?

Also, would someone with no mechanical experience be able to fit this or would you need some previous car experience to carry this work out?

Cheers

Was pretty straight forward ... Took me 15 mins ... Hardest part was taking the clip off and tucking the wire under the heat shield

I fitted mine the other day in 10 mins or so. Really easy to do.

One of the 2 remotes doesn't appear to be working though, so need to check the battery. It also stopped switching the valves briefly yesterday. Could hear a click but valves stayed closed.

Did work later on that evening though so maybe just a minor glitch.

Doesn't void warranty as far as I know + easy to remove if need be.

I'm not too impressed so far ... I always drive in sport so it sounds about the same ... Although today trip was mainly traffic and local ... I guess at highway speeds, I might hear a difference

1 week review ... Not worth the money ... BMW designed these flaps to open and close for a reason ... If u drive in sport/sport + mode all the time ... Save your money ... Only useful if u want to drive in efficient mode with the flaps open ... But who drives a m car in efficient mode

Never understood why people pay so much to control something that if you have issues with just unplug and call it a day. If you want quite M car just go get a Benz or Lexus and sit in the plush padded interior, sound deadning and weights like a fucking pig. But then again people that buy this are why the M tax exists...

I don't think it's consistently open going lets say 10mph. I think it only opens on certain throttle % ?

my friends stock c63 has a button to open and close valve. I thought the same thing until reading that people live in complexes and out of courtesy do not want to bother neighbors.

It's worth it to hear the car startup with them open with out fooling with hitting sport and gas before starting.

I had mine for about 1 year happy. Then it started having a trouble keeping the valve open. Sometimes it keeps it open, sometimes it does not. Not consistent and annoying. I will contact them for a repair/replacement and report back how it turns out.

What should I do I have a 335i and I saw someone do it on YouTube. I'll straight pipe the exhaust on the driver side and keep the right side stock. Then I can use the control to close the straight pipe exhaust when I start my car in early mornings due to neighbors or keep it open. And my stock exhaust on the passenger side stays oem with no control. Is this a good idea? Please reply. I want the straight pipe sound on my 335i.

Open valves is not the same thing as straight pipes.

What I mean is I want to be able to close a straight pipe valve, so I can let my stock side valve have a normal sound when I don't want it too loud. Will it affect my car if I have one side straight piped with the controller and the other side stock with nothing?

It's been 10 days since I never heard back from CG Precision; phone calls never answered, no return on e-mail nor voice message. Is it even a proper business?

I didn't go through this thread, but I don't see issues with this product from other people. However, now I learned if there is any, there won't be any customer service from this company.

Just got a BMS CAN flap module today. Finally the valves are open again and I am happy.

Just ordered mine

Very keen to test it out

My zcp sounds great revving up on idle, but I can't get it to sound like this while driving regardless of throttle mode - all throttle mode switching seems to do is change asd volume
