congrats on your new purchase and really pleased you are loving it. must have been a big decision going from your power plant M6 to the c.200 less HP P car. but like you say the thing is half the size and makes you feel like you are connected and you can throw it in to anything and come out on top!
couldn't agree with you more on your pros and cons... for me, going from the M5 to the 992TTS was a no brainer. similar power to the M5, but with all the pros of a small but 4WD car. if you are waiting to pounce on a turbo S, if it's in reach, you must get it. it's simply the best all round supercar for every day use! amazing! enjoy your new ride

The power kit to my understand is 12-15K to have it installed. Not worth it IMO, I feels like 400HP is more than enough on public road or back road driving in Hawaii.

Correct. It is very pricey and a much better buy optioned at original build. It is nice to have (torque is more linear) but for every day use your 400hp will be perfect. Enjoy sir and a very nice buy!

991 Turbo S is definitely in my radar...It just that I can't justify nor afford the new 991 right now. I just turned 30 and is extreme happy to be able to afford a CTSV, M5, M6, and now a mid-range P-car. Maybe when I hit 35 and I can afford a used 2016 or 2017 991TTS with low mileage for around 130K.

On another note, I start to get into riding motorcycle. To be honest, nothing come close to be able to ride a sport bike. Doing speed limit (55MPH) feels like 100MPH on a sport car. The thrill, adrenaline, and connection between man and machine is so much more with a bike...so a Honda CBR600RR is in my crosshair right now after I finish my probation (10K miles and still alive with all bodyparts intact) period with the Ninja 300. Wish me luck lol. If I die I'll let the forum members know =).
