Hudson was just awesome.

Hey, maybe you haven't been keeping up on current events, but we just got our asses kicked, pal!

Oh, man... and I was getting short. Four more weeks and out. Now I'm going to bite it on this rock. It ain't fair, man!

Ya, I liked Near Dark too, something about it, the whole vibe, can't describe it but it's a classic.

Man, all you guys w the Hudson quotes, do I have to rewatch Aliens now? LOL.

We do see a pulse rifle however.

I'll watch it because ALien but this looks awful. Whilst Alien and ALiens are peerless, I felt Promethius and Covenant were really strong movies that also did a great job of progressing/filling in the story line. It felt like the movies had a purpose and connected dots and TBH they were just good movies with strong casts, especially the magnificent David Fassbender. Not great, but good.

This, this looks like star wars episode 7 through 9. Made for the sake of making it and re-hash of the classic with more diverse cast. I hope I am proved wrong but it really, really looks poor.

Legitimate question, what in this trailor looks good? I see literally zero redeeming features.

It looks like Aliens without the brilliant cast, the tension or the charm/wit.

lol, a purist... can't blame him for that.
It's hard to top A1 and A2, and once you've had the best, it's hard to have the rest.

I have to say I agree. Nothing will top the first one imho. Sci-fi with a mix of horror thrown in for good measure. I prefer one alien to many, but it's hard to beat the cast in Aliens.

I am in the rare minority by saying Promethius and Covenant were better than Resurrection and 3. They were stronger stories, connected dots better, there was subtlety introduced again after 3 movies and blasting away.

This one, based on the trailer, has Star Wars episode 8 written all over it.

I'm w you, but I also thought that Resurrection wasn't bad either (and, yes, I felt bad for that hybrid, Ripley should've adopted him instead of committing infanticide! lol). However, it did seem like the ppl in the latter films tended to do more stupid things, e.g. Charlize Theron's character running away from that massive horseshoe-like spaceship in a straight line! Smh haha.

I always stay in the dark for movies I'm going to watch, so can't comment on this trailer, but they would have to srsly screw up for it to not be entertaining. Heck, isn't this film similar to the whole premise of zombie movies, and I recall you love those: that's where the cool part happens, seeing when their world all goes down the crapper.

Trailers don’t tell it all. I’ll reserve my opinion till after I’ve seen it.

Some people don’t even watch trailers because they say they reveal too much.

Haven't seen Dakota Fanning star in a movie for a while. Hope this is good, but you never know about a Shyamalan movie.

My wife and I watched "Hitman" on Netflix the other night and actually rather enjoyed it.

It's not going to win any Oscars for acting, but it was a fun "date night" movie.

FINALLY.... One of the most anticipated sequels for me released it's first official Trailer. And it appears to be a must see.
The first film is one of the most scary and unsettling movies in recent memory. That was 2 years ago...

It was on this day, June 20, Jaws was released in the theater in 1975. Also the year I got married.

Here are some other interesting things that happened on June 20.

I liked The Watchers, M Night's daughter's directorial debut.
