And because this kit utilizes the OEM shock absorbers, it's substantially less expensive than a full coilover system and it retains EDC functionality. We installed this new sleeve-over kit on this Black Sapphire Metallic M5 and dialed in an aggressive, sporty ride height. While we were at it we also installed a full set of Macht Schnell wheel spacers; 12mm wide in the front and 10mm wide in the rear was just the right combination. The last item on the list for this F10 was a set of iND painted front reflectors, which successfully purged this M5 of its ugly orange reflectors.

Modifications:
iND Painted Front Reflectors
KW Adjustable Lowering Spring Sleeve-Over Kit
Macht Schnell Competition Wheel Spacers (12mm Front, 10mm Rear)

After installing the kit did your car settle a little lower. I have just had my kit fitted but it not sitting as low as yours and the adjusters are wound all the way down!

I would check to make sure the perches are all the way pressed down on the strut. we have run into that issue before where the perch didnt seat all the way down.

Looking so forward to my install of these and the Dinan sway bars on Mar 1st. Been salivating over the install and after photos daily and hope mine looks as good. Does anyone remember their drop heights? I'm aiming for a classy, yet sporty aggressive stance but not slammed.

If you're going KW HAS then you can adjust in accordance to your taste. I started with the settings almost at their lowest and it looked too low (I'm on 21" wheels) and made several subsequent adjustments until it looked the way I wanted.

I don't remember the exact # of turns; every time I thought it was perfect I changed my mind.

Thanks for the info. All checked and you were right, pressed all the way down and now the car sitting the way it should. Thanks once again.

Has anyone installed the H&R springs, and then switched to the HAS? I'm assuming the HAS are superior but interested to hear from someone with experience.

I originally installed H&R's before going to KW HAS.

KW HAS is superior in regards to ride quality, adjustability and cornering performance (less body roll).

I find it to be a good compromise between fixed-height springs and coils and allows you to really dial-in settings to your taste.

Here's a pic of my car on the KW:
