I’m at the same power and torque levels No issues with my DCT clutch here and it’s at 80k original miles. Best to drop gears manually and avoid using the kickdown for longevity. This was a best practice from my supercharged dct e92 m3 days.

80k miles with no upgrades? you must be driving very timidly. dont even say you do pulls every weekend, because that shit will NOT last. |

i drive 50+ miles everyday and drive it like it should be driven. and yes, it will last because my car was dyno tuned which purposely got rid of the torque spike around the 2.8-3k mark and flattened torque from 3.5k+ while at the same time creating more peak power. my clutches are, and will be fine.

I know all sorts of folks beyond 90k that have driven OTS BM3 tunes which give approx 660wtq WITHOUT torque limitation or any trans/clutch issues

Who did your tune? Im in Socal and also believe the proper way to tune a car is dyno tuning it. Most guys here that I have contacted for a dyno keep feeding me the same thing that I do not need a dyno tune and a flash tune will do. But I refuse to do anything other than a custom dyno tune. |
