Lets hope you're right. Looking forward to seeing how you get along. Although the video says he has no lighting package I did notice that he has an illuminated a/c radio trim.. so either he has the cup holder light or the oem footwell lights to tap into. I have none of those |

https://www.amazon.de/dp/B089VSZXTZ/...410GM1FRFBRBSV I removed the steering wheel and all the trim pieces, easier to do and cleaner resultat. There are numerous vids: https://youtu.be/l8rHf2lqwAs I did not use the double sided tape. Last edited by sizanx; 01-05-2022 at 03:50 AM.. |

Mod of the day…yellow button. Looks a bit out of place now but will get tied into some other yellow accents I've got coming (hopefully)

In case you're on the fence if you should save a buck with aftermarket trim or go OEM

I haven't done a whole lot to mine, I really like the colors/materials as-is for the most part.
One thing I did though, is rewrap the steering wheel with Nappa leather. Feels much better than the factory, almost polyurethane feeling material.

So complete stage 2 of my ambient lighting upgrade, added ambient lights to my rear speakers. All main leds upgrades to Benzinfabrik and speakers using lci. Ran out of optic fibre to complete the door pockets. May also do the front tweeters for that G series look.
Very happy with how it came out. |

Woah this is awesome! What are the part numbers for those lci leds and led holders if you don’t mind me asking. I’d love to add some additional lighting to my door cards. |

Testing out some accent trim that came today. Steering wheel might be a bit much but I'm digging the center console look.
