Installed MSR Intake....

So I installed my MSR intake. I must say I am very happy with the results.
The car pulls completely different from before.
I am only a few days in and I don't think I am doing the break in correctly(Since there is numerous 5th gear pulls required which top out at like 135+ or so.. so its tough to find spots where you can run 135+) but I think it is still pulling so much harder than before.

I put a stage 1 in a day before and I thought that added a nice little bit.. but I have to say.. I think the intake has made much more power than the measly stage 1.

I picked up the intake for wayyy less than $3300 or whatever the new cost is... so its very much worth the cost I paid... Worth $3300? ummm maybe not.. but it definitely made a nice improvement.

Can you elaborate on the recommended break in. I'm assuming it's for the ECU to help it adapt a certain way?

So today was day 6 of the new intake... I woke up and took the machine for a drive.. I was pleasantly surprised how much more power there seemed to be. Whether there was an increase or not I'm not sure, but it sure as hell felt like it. Mid throttle pulled real hard.
I must say I am really happy with the increase in performance with this intake. Super stoked. The car was a beasth before but now it's a totally ridiculous beast.

There is an extensive break in period where you need to do full throttle pulls all the way through certain gears. The computer learns the new capabilities and adapts the fuel and air and stuff to the new set up.
Apparently it takes about a week for the computer to adjust.
Day 6 for me today and I noticed a decent increase in power. Loving my intake

Can you scan, email or PM the extensive process as I'd like to duplicate it on my X5M which has a custom intake system.
