Max power not available!

Not sure if anyone else has encountered - but had the following warning come up recently. Car sounds like it is running on 4 cylinders and won't change gear smoothly. BMW read error code and the solenoids in the DCT box are playing up. Covered by warranty but beware if you get this error. Same thing happened in my GTR before. Obviously avweak spot on these DCT gearboxes...

No, just changing solenoids and gaskets. From experience, even though the boxes have magnets to capture any metal filings, it doesn't always do the job properly and they get jammed. Car has 15 k on the clock and 2 years old.

A very common complaint on early GT-Rs, but this is the first ive heard on a BMW DCT gearbox. Please keep us informed.
