JB4 installation

Hi there I have 2015 bmw m5 and I wanted to install the JB4. I know how the process goes but there is one patch colored as rainbow and one patch as brown where each of those connects I know they should go on the tmap sensors but where every patch goes if anyone has it installed to clear things up as on their website it's not as clear thanks in advance

Lmao. I normally don't comment on things like this but have to chime in.

Why drive an m5 and not a civic? Why upgrade anything at all in life? Why buy a house when you can live with your mom? Why use toiler paper when we could use our hands? As humans we strive to better everything. Jb4 > stock. More power is never a bad thing. If your car has traction problems you're not running the right tires. Your comment might be the dumbest thing I've read all year.

Email Terry or Job at BMS.

If you are referring to the boostcontrol module, then it doesn't matter which one you plug into.

The short side of the cables go to the passenger side and and long end goes to the driver side. The JB4 box is concealed on the passenger side

I just installed my JB4 yesterday actually and ran into same question. From reading forums / install guides it seems it doesn't matter whether you connect the rainbow to the left or the right tmap sensor. It all depends where your box will be sitting. For example, if it's on the passenger side, then the short cable goes to the passenger turbo and the long cable connects to the driver side.

I'm currently running using the setup described above and haven't had any issues.
