OEM CF Trim and M6 Steering Wheel installed

Just installed the M6 steering wheel last night. Still need to figure out which module I need to buy for the lane departure vibration and heated steering function. The CF trims are indeed very nice. They replace my aluminum trim. The qualify of this OEM CF wave is very good and unmatched. They bring out more sporty feeling in the cabin. No finger print issue like the Piano trim. I guess the CF waves help out here, like the metallic paint, swirl marks or scratches don't show up that much comparing to Piano trim.

The M6 steering wheel.. omg.. it feels much much better and much more sporty than the M5's. I feel like driving a different car. No jk here. The paddles are much longer and easier to reach. The steering wheel feels smaller than F10's. It is easier to turn the steering wheel from lock to lock. Lastly, it just looks much better than the F10's.

Here are the pics guys. Hope you guys enjoy it.

Will post more pics of the car after my HRE, RKP, and M Performance Spoiler from IND installed next week.

ACS springs are also waiting in the garage. Hope they will be much better than the H&R springs I removed few months ago.

Looks great! Can I ask what the cost was for the steering wheel exchange. Did you lose the heating function and the lane departure?

Very, very nice. I don't know why, but at first I didn't like the M6 steering wheel in the M5. Now I'm realizing I was just wrong! It looks great.

Could you tell us about your experience with the H&R springs? I'm considering installing a set this week.

The h&r springs are too stiff for my taste. On bad roads, the car is really bouncy. I also felt it also impact the handling. ( car is too bouncy when you are cornering). Hopefully acs spring will be better.

You won't disappoint. Did you buy all the parts. I am still waiting for another forum member to answer my question about the module for the vibration and heating.

With airbag around 1600-1700.
I did lose the functions. I need to buy the module which costs around 100 to have to functions back. It is a vibration generator piece.

I forgot how much I paid already. Bought the steering wheel from wdimagineer. He had a extra set.

Price for steering wheel is around $1100 on getbmwparts.com. $850 for air bag. The vibration and heating module price is unknown for now. I am waiting for wdimagineer to info me how to get it.
