F11 M5

Has anyone seen an f11 M5 conversion or aware of anyone thats done one?

Yes I’m aware bmw didn’t make one and how expensive it would be to do.

I thought about this a lot too. Taking the rear top of an f11 and cutting/merging at the c pillar. Not sure how feasible it is.

These guys converted an f11 to an m5 rather than the other way around.

I wonder why they did that? Replacing the rear trunk with a hatch behind the c pillar seems like it'd be easier. You wouldn't even really need to do any coding if you hook up the trunk release mechanism right.
