1. My car arrived at VPC on 10/30- which i think its BS. Because on the website showed the car at VPC on thursday.

2. Oil pump had been replaced. But strange thing is they did the 1200 miles service on my car even though it only had about 700 miles. I think they may be changed that by mistake since i left my car in KM, which is about 1147km. So i think BMW screwed up on that.

3. My car rear bumper needs to be replaced. So its waiting for that.

Now I am concerned that BMW screwed up my oil service.
Krispy. Wish I was back at the Hofbrau House drinking beer instead of waiting and agonizing. Yes, its me, changed my handle to protect the innocent.
How did you get this detailed information? I am suspicious that mine had some body work required due to sitting for 8 days in between clearing customs and opening of the oil pump work order.

I know the feeling. Should have a drink together at Hofbrau

I called 800.932.0831 and gave them my vin.

I asked BMW to give me every single detail on what has been done to my car.

Don't take no for answer. They have a VPC specific system that they can login and see what exactly is going on with your car.

I hope so. My car was "released to trucking" yesterday morning. Supposedly the trucking co must ship within 24 hours. Its been more than 24 hours and no movement. I need a hobby.

We'll see if that holds true. I was on the CEPHUS LEADER, and according to my CA the car was released to trucking on 11/5. As of last night the transporter had not arrived. If it was picked up in 24 hours, it should be at the dealer no later than today...

I would think the dealer could call and get firm details from the trucking company, so the information void is very frustrating.

I just got an email from the CA, he's expecting arrival at the dealership today. I'll let you know how it goes.

Any more info on your car?

Not really any more new info on my car. Still hasn't left the black hole called the BMW VDC.

I'm about ready to give up hope that I can actually get my car by this Friday.

I got my car last night!! SICK is all I can say.

Sorry to hear you still dont have yours. Maybe my incessant calls to BMWNA triggered something. They know I am pissed off and not going away.

That might be a trick to get to the front of the line.

Sigh.

I still don't know when my car will be released.

Almost 8 weeks after drop off.

I feel your pain but FYI, BMW still has 2 weeks on their published delivery time frames, unfortunately. Almost have mine but don't know when for sure either.....

I'm so disallusioned right now I don't even know what to think anymore. True, BMW technically still has one more week to get my car to me, but it seems like it is being delayed either for no good reason or an unknown reason.

I think that if it was any other Client Advisor or dealership, I would have told BMW to take the car back. This negligence and incompetence on the part of BMW is not worth the mental anguish. Especially when everyone else is enjoying their M5's right now and I'm having my weekend plans ruined.

Picked up car Tuesday morning in Santa Barbara. Jon Shafer is the best.

Also traded in my Silver E60. Here's a picture of them together.

I then drove the F10 to Laguna Seca for a wednesday event with the McLaren club. I ran in advanced group and could hang with the slower McLaren drivers, but the good guys were impossible to keep up with. I did a 1:47 in MDM mode (which intervened a LOT under WOT, but not bad turns). Not bad for first time at track with new car-- but clearly a lot more potential there for a good driver (not me).
