Dyno Issue :(
Hi guys, I put my 2012 m5 on the dyno today and the ecu kept pulling the boost, it did not log an error as much on the computer but when diagnosed came up with '120908 Charge pressure control. switch off; pressure build-up block.
The car is stock except a cat back akra and a new fitted RK intake (cover around 40 miles of mild driving) Anyone have any clues what the problem might be?? |

Well just heard back from the garage they said the car is very much under powered. It was only making 460bhp (crank) at 6k rpm then going into limp mode. The problem is there are no errors being displayed.
They have suggested they start stripping the engine and start looking for any possible leaks. Has anyone had this issue before? |

Are the vacuum lines for your exhaust reinstalled correctly (dont know if Akra has the exhaust valves), or at least plugged up?

Well I was just notified that the wastegates on both turbo's are not functioning properly, and the tuner also put the latest software on the car to no avail. Any ideas on what could be happening?

Hopefully that is the issue. I'm not too familiar.

I will check the vacuum lines myself tomorrow and chase them as far back as possible, but the weird thing is that there is not even enough vacuum in the system to open the exhaust flaps. The plugs will also be done while everything is off

Hi guys, well I have the car back, seemed as though it needed the vacuum solenoids changed and i had leaky exhaust valves so these were plugged. The car seems to be all good now!
